Renate Weber, Romanian liberal MEP (ALDE), has led an European Parliament mission in Ecuador, with the purpose of monitoring the constitutional referendum in this country.
As Chair of the EP Delegation in Ecuador, Renate Weber has had working meetings with the President of the Republic, Rafael Correa, with the Foreign and Comercial Affairs Minister, with the Internal and External Security Coordination Minister, with the President of the Supreme Electoral Court, with members of the Constituant Assembly, representatives of the ruling party and of the oposition, and also with journalists.
