About myself:
Being a lawyer and previously working for 5 years as an NGO activist after spending one and a half year in a public state institution, my joining the European Parliament is a very welcomed step in my career.

My background in law and the experience gathered as a lawyer, together with the time spent as a civil society activist are helpful in my work with the Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) Committee.

LIBE is a very active Committee in fields like immigration, asylum, data-protection and other critical aspects of nowadays Europe.

Each day is a true challenge and I always feel like I am in the middle of things. I can only hope that my work counts so that each and every one of us feels as we are indeed proud to be called European citizens.
