La Paz, January 12, 2009 - Renate Weber, Romanian MEP, is in Bolivia until the end of January, as Chief of the EU Electoral Observation Mission (EU-EOM).

Following a series of meetings with Bolivian central authorities in the capital-city of La Paz, Renate Weber is going today - together with EU-EOM Deputy-Chief, Thomas Boserup - to Santa Cruz, to talk to electoral and political authorities' representatives in the area.

Renate Weber - member of the LIBE Committee - is the first representative of Romania to lead an EU Electoral Observation Mission.
