Nine o'Clock, January 27, 2010 - Rosia Montana has caused a row in Brussels. MEP Renate Weber claims that Adina Valean, her fellow Liberal MEP, has organized along with Canada’s Gabriel Resources a seminar concerning the Rosia Montana Gold Corporation (RMGC) without inviting any of the project’s opponents, Realitatea.net informs. Weber claims that she attended the debate but was not allowed to state her opinion although she had made a request and there were another 20 minutes to go before the end of the seminar. Likewise, MEP Laszlo Tokes, who pointed out that he was not invited to the event, underlined that in his opinion the seminar has nothing to do with mining, being in fact an act of lobbying made by RMGC, Agerpres informs.
