Pristina, March 25th, 2008 - Romanian MEP Renate Weber is in Kosovo, for a two days visit organized by the ALDE Group. The delegation - led by ALDE's president, Graham Watson (UK) - is composed by two more ALDE MEPs: Jelko Kacin (Slovenia) and Johannes Lebech (Denmark), as well as councilor Rune Glasberg.

ALDE MEPs will meet this afternoon with president Fatmir Sedju and, respectively, with the speaker of the Parliament, Jakup Krasniqi.

The morning of Wednesday, March 26 2008, is dedicated to several meetings with high-rank governmental officials:vice-premier Hairedin Huqi; Education Minister, Enver Hoxhaj; Public Services Ministe, Arsim Bajrami; Nenad Rasic, Minister of labour and Social Welfare (representing SLS, the Serb Independent Liberal Party) and Gjergj Dedaj, deputy Minister of labour and Social Welfare (leader of the Liberal Party of Kosovo).

The ALDE delegation members will also meet with representatives of other local parties and, respectively, with representatives of civil society.
